ZASAVICA 2004

Scientific-research work camps coordinated between BSSRS ″Josif Pancic″ and Nature Conservation Movement of Sremska Mitrovica are held annually since 2003.

In the period of July the 31st til August the 4th camp “Zasavica 2004“. as continuance of the research camp held in 2003 Young researchers were situated on observation deck on Valjevac.

During the camp, work on field was done in the following parts of the Reserve: Jovaca, Ribnjaca, Turske livade, Stanisevac. The most important field exercise was in Stanisevac, which is not yet in the borders of the Reserve. By the diversity that was established Stanisevac has the qualities to be a part of the Reserve.
Phytocenological site surveying was done and a fauna species preliminary list was created
